Spanish for specific uses ( from level B2 )

A two weeks crash course of Spanish for a specific use, according to the professional background of the applicants.  Pre-registration is required so that participants can join the group which better fits their professional interests (business, tourism, administration ….)

Academic Programme

*Students will choose one of the following subjects :

• Society and Politics in Spain
• Spanish Cinema
• Economics and  Law
• Spanish and Latin american Literature
  
  
  

Specific requirements :

• A maximum of 8 students , except for Spanish culture classes.
• Aimed at students attending an advanced programme , from level B2.
• Classes are given from Monday to Friday ( both morning and afternoon sessions).
• Focusing on a professional use of Spanish language in different fields of activity (business, tourism, administration ).
• Cancellation and refund of the registration fee:  80% of the total amount if the cancellation occurs at least 30 days before the course starts.  And 50% of the amount , when cancelled in less than 30 days . In all other circumstances, no refund will be made.
• Certificates of Attendance.  The students attending at least  90% of the classes will receive a Certificate of Attendance,  issued by the UIMP in accordance with  the European Framework of Reference.

 

Pre-registration

• Pre-registration form duly filled out and signed
• Two passport-size photos
• Photocopy of passport or identity card
• Stating the personal professional interests.

The students admitted will be informed so that they can formalize their enrollment.

It includes :

• Registration fee and teaching material
• Accommodation in single room at the Las Llamas Campus Hall of residence .
• Full boarding
• Excursion to Bilbao, visiting the Guggenheim Museum
• The tariff includes all the  activities and cannot be split up.

A specific Programme  exists for all students requiring a certification of their  assignment  based on the new EU system .
